Asha at Zurich Marathon

The Zurich Marathon has a special place in my heart, and this year marks my first time running for ASHA Zurich.

During the COVID crisis in India, I witnessed how deeply children’s education was affected. At that time, my father and I cycled 1,000 km together to raise funds for children in India whose schooling and daily lives had been disrupted. That experience showed me how powerful collective effort can be.

My father, an ultramarathoner, has always been my greatest inspiration. His resilience and commitment to pushing boundaries motivate me to challenge myself - and to run with purpose.

This year, I am taking on the opportunity to to raise funds for the education of underprivileged children in India through ASHA Zurich by running 10 KM . Fundraising has become increasingly challenging in recent years, yet the need remains urgent. Many children are still rebuilding after the long-term impact of the pandemic.
