Asha at Zurich Marathon

Hello everyone,

My name is Shama Baldi, and I am an athlete enthusiast with a passion for badminton and running. I have been extensively training in both sports, and now I am taking on a new challenge: running my first half marathon (21.1 km) to raise funds for Asha Zurich.

Training for and running with Team Asha 2026 in the Zurich marathon is my way of demonstrating the commitment I have to Asha and its cause of working with economically challenged sections of society in India. Starting as an organization working to bring education to underprivileged children, Asha's mission today has grown to rejuvenating the entire community these children live in and holistically bettering not just their own lives but those of their families as well, and I am very excited to be part of it.
